Grapes Merlot - Cabernet Sauvignon . Made using traditional methods, with grapes from vines that are at least 15 years old, hence 'vieilles vignes'.
With a dark red robe, this wine has a fruity nose made up of blackcurrants and licorice, and is rich and robust on the palate. To be served ideally at 16°C. And drunk now, or in 2-3 years.
Goes well with roasted meats: beef, wild boar etc.
